Project Description:

There will be an estimated total of 45, 000 employees using this solution which drives pay and ensures shift coverage across clinical and non-clinical areas. Over 1,600 scheduling and timekeeping rules must be configured and tested adhering to five separate collective agreements and the employment standards act.

The project has been in flight since July 2023 and has been experiencing delays. An internal assessment has assessed that these are due to several contributing factors:

  • Vendor deliverable delays.
  • Multiple health organizations including multiple project managers both with vendor, vendor sub-contractor and health authorities.
  • Complex and extensive manual testing.

A project director is required to work closely with the two internal project managers along with the primary vendor PM, vendor leadership and internal sponsors to ensure a successful implementation before the end of the calendar year.
