| Job Details | Our Burnaby area client is a leader in the support and provision of healthcare services to the British Columbia public. The client is seeking an Expert Project Manager on a contract basis to support Provincial Digital Health and Information Services (PDHIS). Project Description: Imaging Solutions is responsible for a number of projects for Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), Providence Healthcare (PHC) and the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). These projects can include software and hardware infrastructure upgrades, workflow/dataflow analysis, integrations, change management and strategic initiatives. Anticipated services include: - Providing overall project leadership, coordination, and governance across stakeholders, sponsors, vendors, and delivery teams
- Managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and resources to ensure successful execution
- Overseeing vendor relationships, contracts, and deliverables
- Reviewing and optimizing project plans, in-flight workstreams, and resource allocations
- Developing executive reporting, dashboards, and steering committee updates
- Supporting enterprise and departmental change management activities
- Ensuring adherence to organizational standards, methodologies, and quality practices
- Facilitating effective communication, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement
- Maintaining accurate documentation and minimizing project risk throughout the lifecycle

| Must Haves | - Extensive experience leading large, complex enterprise initiatives, including system selection, implementation, and organizational transformation
- Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder environments and oversee full project/program delivery
- 10+ years of senior-level project/program leadership in complex enterprise settings, including large-scale IT and infrastructure implementations
- Experience working within regulated or highly structured environments (e.g., healthcare or comparable sectors)
- Strong executive communication skills, including preparing and delivering presentations and recommendations to senior leadership
- Demonstrated success improving business processes, driving efficiencies, and leading cross-functional technical and business teams
- Experience operating within a PMO framework and applying established project governance standards
- Skilled in risk management, change leadership, and navigating ambiguity in complex environments
- Formal training in project management best practices; PMP and/or Change Management certification considered an asset
- Experience managing vendors, executive relationships, and large project budgets
