| Must Haves | - At least 8 years of combined experience as a Project Manager, Project Development Officer, or Project Officer for large complex projects.
- At least 4 years of combined experience with projects involving BC’s Health Organizations (e.g., PHSA, VCH, or PHC) or BC Ministry of Health.
- At least 1 year of combined experience as a Project Manager of a large complex IT related project(s) where more than one of BC’s Health Organizations (e.g., PHSA, VCH, PHC) was a stakeholder.
- Hands-on experience in a leading senior role for enterprise strategic initiatives.
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Exceptional active listening skills.
- Exceptional ability to develop and deliver clear messages for complex topics to a variety of audiences at all levels.
- Exceptional ability to develop and maintain strong and professional working relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to develop well considered, logical, and justifiable options.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and real-world best practices.
- Exceptional skills in handling sensitive and challenging situations.
- Exceptional organizational and time management.
- Exceptional ability to work across all project areas (e.g., technical and clinical) and identify upstream impacts, downstream impacts, dependencies, and overlapping activities.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex vendor relationships.
