Our Burnaby area client is a leader in the support and provision of healthcare services to the British Columbia public.

The client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst on a halftime (0.5) contract basis to support expansion of the Aruba ClearPass Network Access Control (NAC) platform.

Project Description: 

This project will expand the client’s Aruba ClearPass Network Access Control (NAC) platform following the successful completion of Phase 1. The initiative includes migrating additional wired and wireless device groups, establishing standardized authentication and access control policies, supporting Zero Trust principles, and developing a retirement plan for legacy Microsoft NPS infrastructure.

The project aims to improve network security, device authentication, governance, and operational support processes. Key milestones include device discovery and classification, requirements gathering, policy development, migration planning, testing, operational readiness, training, deployment, and transition to operations. Delivery will occur throughout FY26/27 in alignment with the broader network modernization program.

Scope of Work

Provide Business Analysis and Change Management services to support Aruba ClearPass NAC expansion, device migration planning, authentication requirements, network access policies, operational readiness, training, testing, governance activities, and NPS retirement planning.

Resourcing

• 1 Senior Business Analyst / Change Management Lead
• Experience in Network Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Authentication Services, NAC, Stakeholder Engagement, Quality Assurance, Operational Readiness, and Change Management.

Timeline

• 0.5 FTE engagement for approximately 12 months (FY26/27).

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is preferred or equivalent experience.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other project management certification preferred
• At least 5 to 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with significant experience in large-scale transitions or IT projects.
• Prior experience with BC Health Authorities is required.
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, impact analysis, communication planning, use/test cases development, UAT coordination, knowledge transfer.
• Familiarity with connectivity / authentication of end user devices in a medical environment, will be considered a strong asset.
• Strong analytical, time management, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for engaging stakeholders.
• Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Visio, Smartsheet, Excel, Jira and any other project
• management software.
